Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 June 2026
This policy explains how HowVeryDare uses cookies and similar technologies on howverydare.com, and the choices you have.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to measure how a site is used.
Cookies and consent
HowVeryDare uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are analytics cookies — we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics cookies are off by default. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept them, and we use Google Consent Mode so nothing analytics-related is stored until you choose "Accept". You can use the site and join the waitlist without accepting any cookies.
Cookies and services we use
| Service | Purpose | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics (GA4) | Measures how the site is used (pages viewed, device, approximate location) | Sets _ga / _ga_* cookies (up to ~2 years) — only after you accept |
| Google Tag Manager | Loads and manages tags such as Google Analytics | Sets no cookies of its own |
| Google Fonts | Serves the fonts used on the page | None set on our site; your IP is processed to deliver the fonts |
| Web3Forms | Delivers your waitlist sign-up to our inbox | None set on our site; contacted only when you submit the form |
Managing cookies
You can change your decision at any time with the "Change your cookie choice" button above, or control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or remove existing ones. Rejecting or blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.
